reading vs WoW

  • Mood: Lonely
  • Listening to: Enter Sandman - Metallica
  • Reading: The Count of Monte Cristo - Alexandre Dumas
  • Watching: Ella Enchanted
  • Playing: WoW
  • Eating: Motomachi Ramen
  • Drinking: Water
I'm hooked with reading. I spent a whole Saturday reading and reading. Books are interesting. You never know what's going to happen until you flip that page and read the words. Line by line you uncover the magic of literature as you get trapped in the world created by the author. Reading's like a net. Spent my whole day reading, not talking to anyone else. Even if I'm out, my mind will be filled with the wonders of the next line or the next chapter of the book.

So.... what's the difference with playing WoW? Ha ha ha.....

Anyways. Our film called "The Elevator" won 3rd place in Narrative Comedy in the BC Student Film Festival!! Woots!

Still doesn't solve my dilemma concerning the future aspect of my life: "Post secondary applications". University? What major? Do I want to spend 5 years instead of 2 studying film production? Do I want to do film? What if I want to settle down and have the white picket fence and the whole shebang? Would people hire me? Would I be able to make the movies I really want to? Would I be able to make enough money? Should I do advertising instead, combining both business with arts. Choices, choices....

or

back to the pastry chef?

WoW can be monotonous. Grinding can be a bore. But a good book with a nice tall glass of ice water and maybe some chips? Nothing like it. Every chapter is a new adventure and every book a new journey. the fact that your reading the Count of Monte Cristo, one of my personal favorites of which I hope your reading the unabridged version, is a great way to spend your time.

Enjoy.
:iconwolfi1412:
it is the unabridged version.. it's as thick as a brick.

in a good way.

I must concure with Zangi, except I'll go even further:

Reading > all
